求助：apache服务器目录配置出现http404错误，该如何解决？

在redhat as4.6上安装了apapche2，服务器配置了一个“/home/upload”为访问目录，如果直接输入机器IP可以弹出“This page is used to test the proper operation of the Apache HTTP server after it has been installed. If you can read this page, it means that the Apache HTTP server installed at this site is working properly.”，但是访问/home/upload下面的某个文件“server.xml”文件的时候，却提示“http 404未找到”，请问各位专家，该如何配置才能实现？非常感谢！
