无法解析PHP文件?打开提示另存为...

安装环境:
apache2.24
my   sql   5.0
php   5.2.3
winxp   profession   sp2

我在该系统之上安装好了apache,安装好了my   sql   然后再进行了php的手动安装,copy   了php.ini到windows系统目录下(c:\windows\),然后再把php5ts.dll拷贝到目录   c:\windows\system32下,把   php\ext目录下   php_gd2.dll,php_mysql.dll两个文件复制到c:\windows\system32下。

然后安装PHP模块:

在   httpd.conf文件中找到   AddType   application/x-gzip   .gz   .tgz这一行,在此行后加入一行   AddType   application/x-httpd-php   .php  

按以上步骤配置好了之后,在浏览器输入http://localhost/能够打开默认的index.html文件.
但是当输入http://localhost/test.php的时候就提示说打开,或者另存为,或者取消的提示,显然是没有能够识别这个PHP文件.

请问我的设置方法有问题吗?我是按照全程指导上面的提示一步步的操作的.什么地方出了问题?请各位大虾指点指点
