ubuntu7.10输入法怎么切换？

我现在系统改装ubuntu7.10，我在安装过程中选的是中文，怎么装好以后大部分都是英文？还有输入法好象都没装似的，怎么切换都切换不中文输入法，连输入法的图标都没有，这是怎么回事呢？
   要怎么把ubuntu7.10设为中文？输入法是怎么回事我都弄不明白，就是切换不了中文输入。是不是默认安装都没有安装输入法吗？

问题解决了，我重新安装接上网络系统就自己下载语言包，就是下载的时候好慢。　　　　　　

换一下安装源可能会改善。比如用cn.archive.ubuntu.com 还有一个口碑很好的源，就是ubuntu.cn99.com/ubuntu： 　　　　　　

deb http://ubuntu.cn99.com/ubuntu/ gutsy
只要把上面的这个安装源导入就可以了吗？
还是要导入下面这些？好多啊
