鼠标键盘不响应，怎么办

我的RH7.1在启动过程中，键盘被锁，到登录界面时，发现鼠标也被锁了，无法正常登录，也就无法正常关机。怎么办？请各位大虾指点。

我有一机器用Intel stl2主板，SCSI硬盘，装RH7.1。已经使用过一段时间了，前几天因为死机重启，系统就起不来了。现将部分信息摘抄如下：

while determining whether /is mounted

Give root password for maintenance

我运行了
    e2fsck -b 8193 /dev/sda1
则:
ext2fs_check_if_mount:Input/Output error while determining whether /dev/sda1 is mounted

pass2:checking directory structure
pass3:checking directory connectivity
pass4:checking reference counts
pass5:checking group summary information

/boot: 33/14056 files (6.1% non-contiguous),10862/56196 blocks

重启后现象与原来一样。

并且/boot下，我用ls ,什么都没有。
