Hi,
Newbie to CVS, I managed to bring the CVS pserver up, but still fail to login using one account on my linux box(Redhat7.2). I don’t have the passwd file under CVSROOT and want to fall on the system’s /usr/passwd to authenticate the client users. However, it seems this approach doesn’t work at all under Redhat7.2. So I want to use CVS’s own passwd mechanism but I don’t have the proper utility to produce the encrypted password!
Who has such utility or any approach to solve this problem?
Please kindly let me know.

如果你正确的安装了cvs服务器，启动后要在客户端设置好这个环境变量就可以了！
