网络问题：Cannot open netlink socket

系统环境：RedHat7.1，编译内核Linux-2.4.7，用新内核重新启动后，给eth0配置IP地址，但用ping命令，出现：invalid argument错误。
使用命令service network restart，出现如下错误：
Bring up interface lo:
Cannot open netlink socket: Address family not supported by protocol
Bring up interface eth0:
Cannot open netlink socket: Address family not supported by protocol
Cannot open netlink socket: Address family not supported by protocol
Cannot open netlink socket: Address family not supported by protocol
...
编译内核选择netlink那一项后，出现同样错误，为什么？
