Symantec Backup ExecTM 11d 如何备份LINUX系统文件

这几天手里有一个数据备份的CASE,客户环境有windows和linux系统。备份系统用的是Symantec Backup ExecTM 11d，对于windows客户端的备份以前搞的比较多，而linux系统的备份以前还真没有正式搞过。翻看了备份系统的管理员文档，基本上Symantec Backup ExecTM 11d 下针对linux系统文件备份有两种，分别基于客户端安装的Legacy Agent和  Backup Exec Remote Agent for Linux and Unix Server，前面一种客户端程序因为比较老，现在用的用户也比较少。而且经过我自己按照管理员文档配置怎么也没有成功过。最后使用Backup Exec Remote Agent for Linux and Unix Server客户端程序来测试，终于成功备份完成。这里将实施步骤写出来

   实验环境：

   备份服务器系统：windows 2003+Symantec Backup ExecTM 11d+DELL pv132TLTO2磁带库（这里磁带库的相关设置和本次议题无关，不在介绍）

   主机名：w2k3node1

   IP地址：192.168.0.201

   备份客户端系统：LINUX AS4+Backup Exec Remote Agent for Linux and Unix Server

   主机名：linuxas42

   ip地址：192.168.0.144

实验步骤：

1、备份服务器上操作：添加"Remote Agent for linux server or Macintosh system"客户端许可证

2、客户端上操作：

1）在symantec 官方网上下载Remote Agent for Linux and UNIX Servers (RALUS) Compatibility，并将它上传到linuxas42上新建的目录/temp中

2）安装步骤：

[root@linuxas42 temp]# tar xvzf Q180968.BE.RALUS.10.1.5629.3.tar

[root@linuxas42 temp]# cd linux
[root@linuxas42 linux]# ls
installralus  perl  pkgs  ralus  uninstallralus
[root@linuxas42 linux]# ./installralus `

                      Remote Agent Media Server Configuration                     
To display the Remote Agent as a selection in a media server's backup selection tree, and to be able to specify a local network for use between the Remote Agent and a media server, enter the names or IP addresses of the media servers that you want the Remote Agent to communicate with.
