See php manual,you can get some sample and other information.It is the best way.

Remember,Install the php-postgresql package to get your php with postgresql support!

About multimedia,I don't know much about that,but you can try lob(blob).For large storge,it is not a good ideal!

多媒本的支持可能要用到大对象了。
