求救!安装MYSQL时发生错误!

小弟我的LINUX版本是9.0的.今天在安装MYSQL-3.23.58时发生错误.前面./configure --prefix=/usr/local/mysql   make  和make install 都正确.但在最后命令:scripts/mysql_install_db时发生错误.具体错误信息如下:Sorry, the host 'web_test' could net bo looked up. Please configure thd 'hostname' command to return a correct hostname. if you want to solve this at a later stage, restart this script with --force option. 当我就了命令:scripts/mysql_install_db --force 之后,又有一大堆消息.用命令:/usr/local/mysql/bin/safe_mysqld --user=root $  启动不了mysql . 最后有一行:060815 11:46:33 mysqld ended!  各位高手帮个忙,小弟不尽感激!　　　　　　

没有在/etc/hosts中定义web_test主机吧～～
